About Agilitybooks

Agilitybooks was created to make high quality agility training practical, accessible, and realistic, especially for handlers training at home.

Whether you are working in a small garden, a yard, or limited indoor space, the aim is simple: help you train smarter, with purpose, and make real progress with your dog.

Everything here is built around training that works in real life, not just on perfect courses or ideal setups.

Who’s Behind Agilitybooks

Agilitybooks is written and designed by Lee Gibson.

Lee is a regular Great Britain team member, an international judge, and an experienced coach who has worked with handlers at every level of the sport.

He has judged in over 25 countries worldwide, including major championship events such as Crufts, Olympia, and the Junior Open Agility World Championships. Alongside judging, Lee is also a GB Junior Team Coach, working with the next generation of international competitors.

As a competitor, Lee’s dogs have achieved success at the highest level. Star (Euro Star) won the Championship title at Crufts 2024 and was part of the Great Britain team that won a bronze medal at the Agility World Championships in 2025, as well as winning the team agility run.

That experience at the top of the sport directly shapes the way training is approached and taught.

Training Built on Experience

Agilitybooks reflects years of hands on experience as a competitor, coach, and judge.

That perspective matters. Training is not just about teaching exercises, but about understanding how skills hold up under pressure, how dogs read handling, and how small details affect performance in the ring.

The focus throughout is on:

• Clear structure and progression
• Strong foundations that support speed and independence
• Decision making for both dog and handler
• Training that transfers from home to competition

Beyond the Books

For handlers looking for longer term guidance and support, there is also the option to join the Coaching Club.

The Coaching Club is run by Lee Gibson and Ola Kordas, combining their experience as international competitors, coaches, and judges. It is designed for handlers who want ongoing development, structured progression, and a deeper understanding of agility training beyond individual books or lesson plans.

Full details about the Coaching Club can be found on a dedicated page.

A Practical, Down to Earth Approach

Agilitybooks is not about trends or quick fixes. It is about thoughtful training, clear communication, and building dogs that understand their job.

The goal is simple: training that makes sense, works at home, and stands up in the ring.

Train smarter. Train with purpose. Train at home.
